[origin: EP1403461A1] The window casement comprises a frame (2) formed by assembling two metallic joined sections (4) mounted in a fixed frame (3) and supporting glazing (8) formed from two parallel panes (9,10) delimiting between them a free space (11). The periphery of the first pane has its outer edge gripping a sealing joint (13) shaped to comprise a continuous U part (14) receiving the edge and extended by a flat element (15) extending into the free space. The sealing joint U part comprises a set of passage holes (18) distributed along the joint length and the metallic section is drilled with holes (21) in order to establish a communication between the air space and the outside atmosphere.
