The switch (2) has a switch housing (4) and an operating drive (6) coupled to a sliding contact carrier (20) within the housing via an operating rod (8) projecting through a housing opening, the contact carrier fitted with contact bridges (44,46), for cooperation with fixed contacts (66,68), incorporated in a terminal block (54,56). The front face (76) of each terminal block is angled in the direction of a front insertion opening (22) for the connection leads, relative to the assembly opening (24) of the housing which is fitted with a removable cover (26).

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Positionsschalter mit einem Gehäuse (4) und einem Antrieb (6), der mit einem Betätigungsstößel (8) mit einem Kontaktträger (20) in Verbindung tritt. Um das Anklemmen der Anschlussleitungen zu erleichtern, sind die Anschlussklemmen (70) der Kontakteinheiten nebeneinander und senkrecht zur Betätigungsrichtung (R) angeordnet, wobei Anschlussblöcke (54; 56) mit einer zur Montageöffnung (24) schräg verlaufenden Vorderfront (76) vorgesehen sind. <IMAGE>
