Abstract (en)

[origin: WO03005603A1] The aim of the invention is to simultaneously transmit multi-cast messages intended for a group of receivers (MS1 - MS6) in a mobile radio system. To this end, the transmission power of a transmitter (BS) is regulated in such a way that all receivers (MS1 - MS6) in the group can receive the multi-cast messages with a sufficient reception quality. The receivers (MS1 - MS6) also determine the reception quality of the received multi-cast messages and based on said quality transmit at least one transmission power signal back to the transmitter (BS). The latter then evaluates the power transmission control signals of all receivers (MS1-MS6) of the group, in order to regulate the transmission power accordingly.
