[origin: WO03005701A1] The invention relates to a method, a computer program product and a device system for visually checking image data. Image data can be compared side by side with reference images using the inventive method. If a difference between the image data and the reference data is detected, said difference is then stored in a difference file. The difference file can be substantially displayed on the screen of a comparative system, wherein pixels differing between the image data and the reference data are marked.
