[origin: EP1405611A1] The livestock birth aid lever rod (1) has one end connected to an apparatus supported on the mother animal and with two casings (2,3) which can be fixed in place. The lever rod supports a pair of clamping rings and has multiple parallel notches spaced perpendicular to the axis of the lever. Each notch has a flat face facing the front lever and an angled face facing the rear end.
