[origin: EP1405704A2] To produce shaped bricks, especially of concrete, a lower mold (3) is fixed to a production underlay (5), with a mold frame (9) and openings (6) to be filled with material (11). The lower mold section acts with an upper mold section (4), comprising a pressure loading unit (12) with plungers (14) to compress the material in the X-direction within the lower mold openings. The upper mold also has supports (16) with at least one slide (19).
