[origin: EP1405974A2] The lock mechanism (A), for a door or window (F) with a swivel and tipping action, has at least one lock unit (10,20) with a lock (10a,20a) at the door/window frame (B) working with a second lock (10b,20b) at the swing/tilt frame (W). A key (E) at the second lock unit operates a strip (2). The first lock units have a reception zone with an opening to take a pin. With a pin in place at the first lock units, to engage the locking section of the reception zone, the swing/tilt frame is locked at the window/door frame. The operating key system can be motorized.
