The door stop has a locking slide running in a guide rail (1,2) attached to the door leaf. The slide runs along the floor under its own weight and engages into a recess (7) provided in the floor (8) to hold the door in place. the lower end of the slide can have a roller to run along the floor. The slide can be formed as a rod.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Türstoppsystem, das aus einem Verriegelungselement, das in eine Längsführung angebracht ist und mit einem im Fußboden eingelassenen Vertiefungselement in der Art zusammenwirkt, dass beim Auftreffen des Verriegelungselementes dieses durch Schwerkraft in die Vertiefung eintaucht und somit eine Feststellung der Tür bewirkt. Das die Vertiefung bildende Element ist dabei mit einer Abdeckung versehen. <IMAGE>
