Echangeur de chaleur à plaques comportant une pluralité de plaques séparatrices (11) empilées d'épaisseur (e) sensiblement uniforme, définissant entre elles au moins un passage (33), et au moins une ailette (35) disposée dans ledit au moins un passage (33). L'épaisseur minimale (e') de ladite ailette est supérieure à 0,8 fois l'épaisseur (e) de chacune des plaques séparatrices (11) définissant ledit passage (33). Application aux vaporiseurs et aux lignes d'échange des installations de séparation d'air. <IMAGE>
