Abstract (en)
[origin: DE10129654A1] During manufacturing of a physical object with partial objects and design elements a plurality of manufacturing states are typically passed. The invention relates to a method for the automatic selection of further partial objects of a physical object on whose manufacturing the differences between two manufacturing states of a first partial object of the physical object have an effect. The differences are determined between the manufacturing states for a design element. The reference partial objects for the first design element in the first and in the second manufacturing state and the differences between these two sets of reference partial objects are determined. The method is preferably used for the planning of tolerances and/or for selecting the clamping and fixing concept, for example for the body of a motor vehicle and for the devices used to produce said body.
