Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2826166A1] The coplanar faceplate of the display panel has electrodes arranged in triplets, with a central electrode (20) and two opposite side electrodes (13,14). Activation and refresh voltage pulses are applied to the electrodes, with the central electrode always acting as anode. By making the central electrode larger, the luminous efficiency of the display panel is enhanced.
