Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1407662A1] The mechanism has a fixed shaft cover with a guide portion guiding line along its outer circumference and a concave portion with a bail interposed between it and the guide portion. The concave portion has a recessed portion interposing the bail between it and the guide portion. Another recessed portion at the shaft covers closest to a spool (4). The two recessed portions are connected on a side closer to a line roller. An independent claim is also included for a spinning reel.
