The device has a post pivotably joined to a bottom part with a bottom suction opening(s), a dust chamber, a fan and an additional suction opening for a suction hose. Separate parallel flow paths via the additional and bottom suction openings pass to the dust chamber via a common input opening. Both paths are arranged in the bottom part and are fed to the input opening approximately in parallel and together via a flow control element between them. The device has a post pivotably joined to a bottom part with at least one bottom suction opening, a dust chamber (13), a fan and an additional suction opening for a suction hose. Separate parallel flow paths (20,21) via the additional suction opening and the bottom suction opening pass to the dust chamber via a common input opening. Both flow paths are arranged in the bottom part and are fed into the input opening approximately parallel to each other and together via a flow control element (28) between them.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Staubsauger (1) mit einem Stiel (5) und Bodenteil (4), bei dem der Stiel (5) schwenk-beweglich über ein Gelenk (9) mit dem Bodenteil (4) verbunden ist und das Bodenteil (4) mindestens eine bodenseitige Saugöffnung (18), einen durch Staubraumwände (25, 31) begrenzten Staubraum (13), eine Gebläsevorrichtung und eine zusätzliche Saugöffnung (19) für einen Saugschlauch (7) aufweist, wobei über die bodenseitige Saugöffnung (18) ein erster Strömungsweg (20) und über die zusätzliche Saugöffnung (19) ein separater parallel geschalteter zweiter Strömungsweg (21) über eine gemeinsame Eingangsöffnung in den Staubraum (13) geführt sind. Um einen Staubsauger (1) zu offenbaren, bei dem über den Saugschlauch (7) angesaugte Partikel auch bei geringer Saugleistung sicher in den Staubraum bzw. der dort eingesetzten Staubsammelvorrichtung geführt werden, ist erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, dass die beiden Strömungswege (20, 21) im Bodenteil (4) angeordnet und über ein zwischen den beiden Strömungswegen (20, 21) angeordnetes Strömungsleitelement (28) näherungsweise parallel und zusammen in die Eingangsöffnung geleitet werden, welche in einer der Staubraumwände (25, 31) ausgebildet ist. <IMAGE>
