[origin: EP1407835A1] The apparatus includes a conveyor (7,4,8) mounted on a sub-frame (3), for moving objects (2) into a cleaning station. At least one moving brush (9,10,11) acts on the objects in the cleaning station. The brushes (9,10) of two brush pairs are rotatable about the vertical axis, while the brushes (11) of a further pair are rotatable about the horizontal axis.
