[origin: EP1408148A1] The assembly for the production of spun-bond nonwovens has a spinneret (1) to deposit a layer of filaments on an initial conveyor (2), where the upper level of the continuous belt passes between pressure rollers (3). The filament layer is passed around a hollow drum (4), with an inner underpressure, to be picked up by a second conveyor (5), to travel under water jets (6) for consolidation.
