Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1408157A2] A coarse fraction and a liquid binder are mixed in a mixer. A filler is discharged with controlled flow rate to powder the binder liquid which is distributed over the surface of the coarse fraction with the filler. A fine fraction is spread over the layer of the filler. The filler and the fine fraction are then discharged in downwardly directed material flow in the mixer. The discharging of filler and fine fraction is controlled in such as way that the filler and fine fraction become enclosed in a combined suspension where the filler, the fine fraction, and the coarse fraction are parts of a closed liquid volume. An independent claim is also included for a device for producing asphalt mix and for performing method for producing asphalt mix.
