Abstract (en)

Injector (1) for injecting fuel in an injection system of an internal combustion engine comprises a valve needle (6) and a control piston (13), which are each axially guided in the injector, and a pressure rod (14) via which the control piston acts on the valve needle. The control piston and the pressure rod are rigidly connected to each other. The control piston is made of a higher quality material than the pressure rod. Preferred Features: The control piston and the pressure rod are connected to each other by a force- or form-locking connection, preferably by pressing, or by a material connection, preferably by welding or gluing.

Bei einem Injektor (1) zur Einspritzung von Kraftstoff in einem Einspritzsystem einer Brennkraftmaschine mit einer Ventilnadel (6) und einem Steuerkolben (13), die jeweils im Injektor (1) axial verschiebbar geführt sind, sowie mit einer Druckstange (14), über die der Steuerkolben (13) auf die Ventilnadel (6) wirkt, sind der Steuerkolben (13) und die Druckstange (14) miteinander starr verbunden, wobei der Steuerkolben (13) aus einem hochwertigeren Material als die Druckstange (14) besteht. Die Werkstoffauswahl für Steuerkolben und Druckstange kann individuell auf den jeweiligen Anwendungs- bzw. Belastungsfall erfolgen. <IMAGE>
