Abstract (en)
The turbomolecular vacuum pump has a rotor (5) with a metal turbine upstream rotor section (5a) and a HOLWECK (RTM) type composite material downstream section. The downstream section (5c) has a fibre reinforcement dedicated to the loads generated along the length of the shroud. The connection zone between the metal and composite sections is made of a composite with similar mechanical and thermal characteristics to the metal section. Claims include a method of making the rotor shroud.

L'invention prévoit un rotor (5) de pompe à vide turbo moléculaire comprenant un tronçon amont de rotor (5a) de type turbo en métal ou alliage, et un tronçon aval de rotor (5c) de type HOLWECK en matériau composite. Le tronçon aval de rotor (5c) comprend une structure de renforcement à fibres longues réparties de manière variable en fonction de la section considérée : dans la zone annulaire de liaison (5d) avec le tronçon amont de rotor (5a), les fibres sont inclinées et/ou espacées, pour conserver au matériau composite une souplesse autorisant sa déformation pour suivre les déformations du métal du tronçon amont de rotor (5a) en fonctionnement ; par contre, les fibres sont serrées et forment des spires jointives dans la zone aval de jupe (5e), garantissant une plus grande rigidité pour supporter les contraintes mécaniques lors de la rotation rapide du rotor en fonctionnement. On peut ainsi réaliser des rotors dont la jupe de type HOLWECK présente un diamètre augmenté pour améliorer les propriétés de la pompe. <IMAGE>
