Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1408455A2] A number of spaced-apart parking bays are arranged parallel to each other, preferably at an oblique angle. A manually operated input/output device (11) is arranged at the entrance lane (1), registers the departure time of an arriving vehicle, and is connected to a car park control unit (12). Based on the input departure time, the input/output device allocates a free parking space in a parking bay comprising at least two adjacent parking places.
