[origin: WO03011400A1] The invention relates to training equipment, in particular an elliptical trainer, comprising a respective standing platform for the left and right foot of the user, each platform being located on a respective foot bar. Hand grips are configured above said additional pivot bearing. The rear end of the foot bar is connected in a pivoting manner to a lever arm by means of a third pivot bearing, two lever arms of this type, which are offset by 180 DEG , engaging with a rotational shaft (20), which is connected to a drive shaft (23) of a flywheel (21) that can be braked by means of an eddy-current brake. The invention is characterised in that a free-wheel (32) is provided between the drive shaft (23) and the flywheel (21).
