[origin: WO0202384A1] The invention relates to the running gear of a rail vehicle, comprising a transversal stop between the frame and the axle bearing housing (3), said stop (25) acting on the inner side of the curve. The stop (25) can be configured as a rigid stop (25), with air between it and the axle bearing housing (3), or as an elastic play-free stop. The advantage of the invention is that the transversal forces created by the rocking of the frame and those created during the traversing of the curves are not added together.
