[origin: WO03016601A1] Disclosed is a device for the production of fibers (6) in an electrostatic spinning method, comprising a storage vessel for a polymer solution or a polymer melt, a conveyor device (1) arranged in the storage vessel (1), at least one sputter electrode (3; 3a; 3b) or at least one sputter metal sheet and a counter electrode (5), the at least one sputter electrode or the at least one sputter metal sheet being disposed on the conveyor device (1) in such a way that the polymer solution or polymer melt conveyed out of the storage vessel by the conveyor device (1) is drained onto the at least one sputter electrode (3; 3a; 3b) or the at least one sputter metal sheet. Also disclosed is a method for electrostatic spinning of polymers using the inventive device.
