[origin: WO03012808A1] The invention relates to a multi-layer capacitor with a base body (1), formed from a stack of superimposed layers (2, 3), with at least one dielectric layer (2) and an electrode layer (3), whereby the surface of the base body (1) comprises two contact layers (4, 5) and one dielectric layer (2) has a dielectric constant ∈ greater than 440. Said capacitor has the advantage of comprising a high dielectric constant and can thus be constructed in small sizes with high capacitance. The invention further relates to a method for the production of said multi-layer condenser and an electroceramic component.
