Abstract (en)
A bed including a flexible air-inflatable bladder (11) embraced by a flexible inextensible shroud (10). The shrouded bladder (11) may be encircled by a surround (40) to define the outer periphery of the resulting mattress construction. An inextensible layer (90) can be peripherally attached to the upper edge of the surround.
