[origin: EP1410746A1] Chiller cabinet (1) for serving customers in shops comprises a cabinet screen (4) open at the serving side (9) and protecting a surface (2) for displaying products. When closed the display surface covers a cooling trough. The display surface has on its under side a cooling device and a fan for producing an air flow over the display surface and the upper side of the display surface. The end (13) of the display surface facing the serving side pivots upward to provide access from above to the cooling trough for cleaning purposes. The display surface also moves in the direction of the serving side to provide access from above to a part of the cooling trough facing the customer side (3) for cleaning purposes.
