Abstract (en)
In a process to make a rotogravure print form, the image is laser-engraved on especially a chrome-plated form. The form is plated by a galvanic process. Following chrome-plating, the form surface is micro-roughened to a pre- defined micro-roughened state by polishing or grinding. After the laser-engraving process the form is placed in a rotary print press. The engraving process is effected using a number of lasers operated simultaneously. After completion of the printing process, the chrome layer is partly or totally removed from the form. also claimed is a commensurate print form.
Abstract (de)
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Druckform für den Tiefdruck, insbesondere Rotationstiefdruck, wobei mittels einer Laserstrahlgravur Näpfchen in einer Gravieroberfläche erzeugt werden. Das Verfahren wird dadurch weitergebildet, daß vor der Laserstrahlgravur eine Chromschicht als Gravieroberfläche auf die Druckform aufgebracht wird. Darüber hinaus betrifft die Erfindung eine Druckform für den Tiefdruck, insbesondere Rotationstiefdruck, wobei mittels einer Laserstrahlgravur Näpfchen in einer Gravieroberfläche erzeugbar sind, sowie die Verwendung einer Druckform.
