Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1411179A2] The acoustic insulation board, to absorb sound, is composed of sheets (1,2) with grooves (3-6) at their upper and lower sides. The grooves are aligned over each other, at least partially, to provide passage openings (7) where they overlap. Two identical sheets are bonded together with parallel grooves (3,4) at their upper sides, and the parallel grooves (5,6) at the rear sides are at right angles to them, with all the rear grooves aligned over each other. A thin layer of a sound-suppression woven or nonwoven (8) is between the sheets.
