The tool has control electronics and a wireless transmitter/receiver with an authorization code and an external transmitter/receiver in a separate device for the user to carry. Communications can be established with the tool transmitter/receiver by operating the external transmitter/receiver when the operating state is to be changed. The communications are provided only for changing the operating state and possibly the authorization code. The tool (2) has control electronics and a wireless and contactless transmitter/receiver with an authorization code, whereby a locked and released state can be differentiated, and an external transmitter/receiver (6) in a separate device (4) for the user to carry. Communications can be established with the tool transmitter/receiver in a controlled manner by operating the external transmitter/receiver when the operating state is to be changed. The communications are provided only for changing the operating state and possibly for changing the authorization code. AN Independent claim is also included for a method of operating or locking an inventive electric hand tool.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Elektrohandwerkzeuggerät (2) mit einer Steuerelektronik (8) und einer drahtlos und berührungslos ansprechbaren Sende-/empfangseinrichtung (10) und einer Speichereinrichtung (12), auf der ein Berechtigungs-code hinterlegt ist, wobei ein Betriebssperrzustand und ein Betriebsfreigabezustand unterscheidbar sind, und mit einer externen in einem separaten mitführbaren Gerät (4) untergebrachten Sende/empfangseinrichtung (16), wobei durch Betätigung der externen Sende-/empfangseinrichtung (16) eine Kommunikation mit der Sende-/empfangseinrichtung (10) des Elektrohandwerkzeuggeräts gezielt dann herstellbar ist, wenn der Betriebszustand geändert werden soll, und dass eine Kommunikation nur zur Änderung des Betriebszustands und gegebenenfalls zur Änderung des Berechtigungscodes vorgesehen ist. <IMAGE>
