[origin: WO03016057A1] The invention relates to a printing group that comprises at least one pair of cylinders that consists of a form cylinder (03) and a transfer cylinder (07). The transfer cylinder cooperates with an impression cylinder (07; 28), thereby applying ink on a web of material (04) to be printed on that is vertically guided through the last two cylinders. The circumference of the transfer cylinder and/or the circumference of the impression cylinder each is an integral multiple, with the exception of one, of the circumference of the form cylinder (03). The transfer cylinder and the form cylinder have respective drive motors (8) that are mechanically independent from the drive of the respective other cylinder.
