Abstract (en)
[origin: WO03005107A2] The invention relates to a housing for the remote control of an electrical installation, comprising a housing wall (9) that delimits an interior space (5). At least one push-button-type actuator element (11) is disposed in said housing wall, is separated from the rest of the housing wall by a peripheral recess (12) and can be pushed from a rest position into an actuation position against the pressure of laterally disposed elastic return means (16). The aim of the invention is to prevent the visible part (15, 15') from detaching itself from the support element (14, 14') even when the actuator element (11) which consists of said support element (14, 14') from a soft elastic material and said visible part (15, 15') from a hard material fastened on the support element (14, 14') is frequently actuated. To achieve this, the visible part (15, 15') is embedded in a peripheral edge (17) of the support element (14, 14') so that, when the actuator element is pressed, the adjoining peripheral edge (17) of the support element (14, 14') is laterally forced against the visible part (15, 15'), thereby fixating it.
