Abstract (en)
[origin: FR2828055A1] The method of coding a mosaic image made up of sub images resynchronises the digital words to the receiver. The sub images are placed one under the other in the image coder to give a mosaic. The mosaic is coded element by element following a TV type sweep providing a digital word stream, with the first element of each sub assembly identified and a resynchronisation marker placed in the stream before each first sub image element identifying the digital words relative to the sub image.
