[origin: EP1413518A2] An assembly packs a quantity of discrete, loose identical products (P2) in a container (B). The assembly has a first conveyer (3) that supplies containers to a packing station and a second conveyer feeding products (P2) to the packing station. A filling unit (7) transfers products to the container. The filling station (6) esp. is equipped with accessory devices (4, 5) which partially deform or widen the container inlet the container prior to filling.
