A contact roll(10) exerts pressure on the reel(24) according to the winding reel diameter and/or rotational speed. Pressure is applied uniformly to the reel over a prescribed section of the reel whose length can be varied as required. An outer tube(12) of the contact roll(10) runs at the same circumferential speed as the reel shaft(21) while the spindle(1) of the contact roll runs at a speed either slower or faster than or equal to that of the outer tube. An Independent claim is included for the wind-up equipment which includes a contact roll(10) comprising twin tubes(6,12), the outer of which is carried on supports (5) whose position along the contact tube can be varied.

Beim Aufwickeln einer Warenbahn zu einem Wickel 24 übt eine Kontaktwalze 10 auf den Wickeln in Abhängigkeit von Wickeldurchmesser und/oder der Wickelgeschwindigkeit einen gleichmäßigen Anpressdruck über eine vorgegebene Länge einer Druckstrecke aus, die variabel einstellbar ist. Eine Vorrichtung zum Aufwickeln einer Warenbahn, insbesondere einer Kunststoff-Folienbahn besteht aus der Kontaktwalze 10, die an dem Wickel 24 auf einer angetriebenen Wickelrolle 21 anliegt. Die Kontaktwalze 10 umfasst eine Spindel 1, ein Tragrohr 6 und ein Außenrohr 12. Das Tragrohr 6 und das Außenrohr 12 umgeben die Spindel 1 konzentrisch. Im Tragrohr 6 sind axiale Durchbrüche 17 vorhanden, durch die sich Stützelemente 5 erstrecken, von denen jedes mit einem Gewinde 26 in seiner Bodenflächen 27 ausgerüstet ist. Die Spindel 1 weist ein Linksgewinde 2 und ein Rechtsgewinde 3 auf und dazwischen befindet sich eine gewindefreie Zone 4. Die Stützelemente 5 sind mit ihren Gewinden 26 im Eingriff mit dem Links- bzw. dem Rechtsgewinde. <IMAGE>
