Abstract (en)
[origin: DE10249281C1] The exhaust manifold (12) has a number of individual pipes (1) combined together on the output side to form a pipe bundle in which abutting wall sections (4,5) of the adjacent pipes are joined together. The output ends of the abutting wall sections are provided with individual plates (7) fitting between the abutting wall sections and allowing provision of welded joints via welding seams (13). An Independent claim for an exhaust component group for an automobile IC engine is also included.
