[origin: EP1413772A1] A low-noise hydraulic system is installed within a rectangular frame (10) on a base plate (11) which also forms the base of a hydraulic reservoir (13). The reservoir forms at least two of the frame sidewalls. The other sidewalls are noise-insulating sidewalls (20, 33). The unit also encloses several groups of pumps (40, 41, 42) fixed to the base-plate. The reservoir forms two sidewall (13a, 13b; 13c, 13d) sections of the frame. One transverse sidewall (13e) links the two sidewalls to form an H-shaped group. The motor pump groups are located within two compartments.
