[origin: EP1416082A1] A synthetic fiber cable has two multi-strand cores (31, 32) covered and spaced by a sheath (33). The sheath is reinforced, inside, outside, or integrally, in the region linking the cores, by one or two strips (34) containing fibers. They can be in unoriented or oriented mats or interwoven. The reinforcement can incorporate recesses or teeth for a mating drive wheel.
