Abstract (en)
A welded strontium rod (3) for emitting beta radiation, has a beta-decay nuclide. A cylindrical aluminum tube (2) converts the beta-radiations emitted by the rod into Bremsstrahlung and cases the rod. The shape of the standard is maintained same as shape and dimension of beta-emitter to be calibrated. An independent claim is also included for method for calibrating beta-emitter.
