[origin: WO03016657A1] The invention relates to a device for fixing a wall finish profile (1) in a hidden manner. Said device comprises a fixing rail (3) which can be fixed to a wall (2) and is used for the wall finish profile (1) which is connected both to the wall (2) and also to a connection surface (6) extending perpendicularly to the wall (2). Said wall finish profile comprises at least one longitudinal groove (8) on the side of the wall, for receiving a fixing section (7) of the fixing rail (3) by compression. The inventive device also comprises a seal, at least between the connection surface (6) and the wall finish profile (1). In order to create advantageous construction conditions, the seal is arranged, in a manner known per se, on a 90 DEG offset support element (5) of the fixing rail (3), which can be positioned on the connection surface (6), and the seal formed on the support element (5) forms a sealing strip (10) which extends the support element (5) into the positioning region of the wall finish profile (1).
