Abstract (en)

[origin: WO03015202A1] The invention relates to a device and a method enabling the reaction gas pressure in fuel cells of a fuel cell system to remain constant even when high fluctuations of the reaction gas volume flow or high fluctuations occur in the decrease in performance by an electric consumer. A timed reaction gas inlet valve is used in order to guarantee pressure stability. The invention also relates to devices and methods for regulating the economy of fuel cell systems in difficult conditions of unforeseeable changes in reaction gas volume flows and in unforeseeable changes involving the decrease in performance by an electric consumer.
