[origin: DE10137434A1] The circuit has a signal input and output (1,2) for voltage and current signals, an output transistor (4) that produces the output current depending on a control signal and an input transistor (3) that couples the signal input to the output transistor and produces the control signal by superimposing a voltage dependent on the output current onto the input voltage so the output current is linearly dependent on the input voltage in a working range.
