The snow board binding has a frame with a base plate (1) having side flanges (2) on which tension cords (6,8) are fastened to hold a single upper plate (4). The upper plate extends from a toe area (5a) of the boot to at least over the arch area (5b). A single tensioner (8) is provided for the cord independent of the pivot position of the heel area (3).

Die Snowboardbindung hat ein Chassis mit einer Grundplatte (1) und davon abstehenden Seitenwangen (2), an denen Zugseile (6, 8) befestigt sind, die ein einziges Ristelement (4) halten. Das Ristelement (4) erstreckt sich von einem Zehenbereich (5a) des Stiefels bis mindestens über dessen Ristbereich (5b). Eine einzige Spannvorrichtung (8) für die Zugseile (6, 9) ist unabhängig von einer Schwenkstellung eines Fersenelementes (3) (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
