Abstract (en)
The machine (5) includes a body (15), a mechanism (24) for driving a band (17) carrying wrapping adhesive (18), and a pivoting arm (20) sticking out relative to the body and having a device (21) for guiding the band along a trajectory having a reverse part (22) for separating the wrapping material from the band. The arm includes a device for protecting a section of the band situated downstream of the reversing movement, that delimits with the aid of a guide device (21), a passage for the band section. An Independent claim is included for a wrapping installation comprising at least one of the above wrapping machines and a conveyor assembly for conveying containers to be wrapped.
