The pushbutton switch has a flat contact surface (6) with a LED (2) centrally placed under the pushbutton. The pushbutton (1) has a flat opaque top surface (4) acting as an actuation surface. It has transparent cylindrical sides (3). The pushbutton is accommodated in a hole in a flat housing wall (11), and is resiliently mounted on two spring arms (7) which are accommodated inside the housing.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Schalter eines elektrischen Gerätes, insbesondere eines Computers. Der Schalter weist mindestens einen Schalterknopf auf mit einer den Schalterknopf an einem Ende begrenzenden Betätigungsfläche. Die Betätigungsfläche weist einen lichtdurchlässigen und lichtundurchlässigen Bereich auf, wobei der lichtdurchlässige Bereich durch ein Leuchtelement beleuchtbar ist, welches mit Abstand hinter der Betätigungsfläche angeordnet ist. <IMAGE>
