Abstract (en)

[origin: WO02088261A1] A thermoplastic coating powder having an average particle size of 200 - 500 mu m, whereby a maximum of l 20 % of said particles have a particle size of T > 500 mu m, which can be produced by applying at least one dispersion and/or at least one solution, containing (A) at least one functional component of a thermoplastic coating powder, (B) at least one solvent and (C) at least one oligomer and/or polymer component, to the surface of dimensionally-stable thermoplastic particles with full or essentially full evaporation of the solvent or solvents (B). The invention also relates to a novel mixing system and a novel method for the production and/or for subsequently adjusting the material composition and/or application-technology property profile of coating powders, wherein at least one dispersion and/or at least one solution (A/B) or (A/B/C) are/is used.
