Abstract (en)

[origin: WO03017304A2] The invention relates to a switch of the type that comprises a pressure- and rotation-actuated mobile element. The inventive switch is characterised in that it comprises a display, a programmable electronic unit and a cover. The cover, which can be rotated endlessly in one direction and around a pivot (22) in the other direction, can occupy several stop positions during one rotation. Each of said stop positions can be used to actuate a switch (6) that is used to control the electronic unit. Moreover, said cover can be moved linearly in a direction that is perpendicular to the plane of rotation in order to occupy a low closed position when pressure is applied to the cover. When said pressure is released, the cover is automatically returned to the open position. In this way, the notched switch (5) of the electronic unit can be actuated.
