[origin: EP1419980A1] Main constructional parts of the storage container (1) for liquids are a blow moulded inner container (2) of synthetic plastics material, which has four side walls (3-6), a bottom floor (7) and a curved upper floor (8) with different connection sockets (9-12), further a blow-moulded outer container (13) of plastics material receiving the inner container (2), which is formed by four side walls (14-17), a floor (18) and a a removable curved lid (19) of plastics material with corresponding through holes (24) for the sockets (9-12) of the inner container (2) and serves for leakage protection of the inner container, an outer cage (21) of cage rods (22,23) of metal as well as a pallet-like underframe (24) of metal for stacking and for transportation of the storage container (1) by means of forklifts or similar transportation devices.
