Device for locking together interconnected structural panels (1a, 2a), especially floor panels, comprises a core of wood material having on at least one edge a groove (4a) and on the opposite-lying edge a tongue (3a) corresponding to the groove. Two interconnected panels are locked together by the tongue and groove connection in a horizontal (H) or a vertical direction (V). The tongue and the groove are each provided with at least one recess (5). The recesses lie opposite each other when the plates are interconnected. An insert (7) engaging in the recesses has at least one elastic lip (7') which is used to lock the panel in the other, either vertical or horizontal, direction. Preferred Features: The insert is a plastic injection-molded part having two lips.

Eine Einrichtung zum Verriegeln von miteinander verbundenen Bauplatten (1, 2; 1 a, 2a), insbesondere Bodenpaneelen mit einem Kern aus Holzwerkstoff, die an einer mindestens einer Kante mit einer Nut (4, 4a) und an der gegenüberliegenden Kante mit einer zu der Nut (4, 4a) korrespondierenden Feder (3, 3a) versehen sind, wobei zwei miteinander verbundene Platten (1, 2; 1a, 2a) durch die Feder-Nut-Verbindung in einer horizontalen oder einer vertikalen Richtung (H, V) verriegelt sind und wobei die Feder (3, 3a) und die Nut (4, 4a) mit mindestens einer Ausnehmung (5, 6) versehen sind, die sich bei miteinander verbundenen Platten (1a, 2a) im Wesentlichen gegenüberliegen, zeichnet sich aus durch einen in die Ausnehmungen (5, 6) eingreifenden Einsatz (7), der mindestens eine federnde Lippe (7 <I>, 7 <II>, 7 <III>, 7 <IV>) aufweist und mit dem die Platten (1, 2; 1a, 2a) in die andere, entweder vertikale oder horizontale Richtung (V oder H) verriegelbar sind. <IMAGE>
