Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1420140A1] Frame (1) for holding a flat body with a polygonal profile comprises a number of elongated straight profile bars (3) corresponding to the number of sides of the profile. The profile bars are held together at their ends by a peripheral clamping element (7), which clamps the profile bars from the inner side of the frame. The clamping element runs in a channel arranged on the inner wall side of each profile bar. The clamping element is accessible from the inner side of the frame and the profile bars have a recess on the inner periphery for receiving a glass pane. An Independent claim is also included for an electronic device comprising the above frame and a glass pane inserted in the frame. Preferred Features: The clamping element grips onto a corner connector (5) arranged between the ends of two adjacent profile bars.
