[origin: EP1420166A1] High-pressure rotary pump in a pot housing comprises a pressure lid (3) with a flange (4) for screwing the pressure lid on an end-side annular sealing surface (20) of a housing (2). The flange is elastically deformed during the screwing process and the sealing surface of the housing in the region of a base zone of the flange comes into contact with a second sealing surface (40). Before the screwing process the two sealing surfaces lie on two at least approximately radially extending conical or annular surfaces enclosing a small angle which opens outward relative to a central axis (101) so that after the screwing process the two sealing surfaces are pressed together and the angle between the sealing surfaces becomes zero. Preferred Features: The housing and/or the pressure lid are made of a metallic material, especially forged steel.
