Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1420221A2] Air-cooled radiator (1) comprises at least two radiator units through which one after the other the medium (M) to be cooled flows. The radiator units are arranged behind each other without direct heat transfer. The front radiator unit (2) first loaded with the cooling air (Kl) has the outflow (A2) for the medium to be cooled and the rear radiator unit (3) next loaded with the cooling air has the inflow (Z3) for the medium to be cooled. Preferred Features: The radiator is arranged on a component in the front or rear region of a vehicle in or near the region of a wheel case cut-out.
